Widmer Farm near Great Marlow. Family Home of the Oxlades (1710-1822)

Photos by A.F.J. Oxlade
The oldest building in the parish of Marlow is most likely the early
12th-century Chapel and Crypt at Widmer Farm, which is an undercroft
consisting of a room about twenty feet square with columns supporting the chapel above.
The Chapel and garden at St Michaels School, Clayfield,Brisbane, Australia run by the Anglican Sisters
of the Sacred Advent looked very similar to Widmer's Chapel and was possibly modelled on it.

Home of Mary Oxlade's (1798-1871) son Henry Brigginshaw (1838-1917) at Datchet,Bucks
