Our search began with little hope of finding out much information. The family believed U.Grant Oppe was adopted. We didn't know where to start. We began with the census. The 1880 census revealed much and the search was on. It has been a lot of fun. Our family tree has grown significantly. We have begun to add stories and or pictures for many of our family branches. We hope you find the pictures and stories interesting. We cover both Marietta and Reno Ohio Oppes, Daileys, Brittons and Harshas . We also cover Gilmer and Wood County West Virginia with the Kirkpatricks, Fords and Oppes.The Osteens are mainly from Florida.
