| I am searching for the
marriage of a John PUGH who died c.late 1891/92 in
Marshall Co. KY. He was married to Amanda (Manda/Manda)
??? c. 1888/89. In my searching I ran across the
following which might be useful to other researchers. My
notations below are within "[]". ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ OBIT: Mrs. Mary A. PUGH, wife of the late Joseph Thomas PUGH, died at her home near Palma KY last Wed. of Pneumonia. She was an old lady but has been, until recently, in good health. This is the fourth one that has died in that family within one year. She was buried at the Wilson Grave Yard. Wednesday 23, March 1892 issue of this WEEKLY paper. Death probably 16th of Mar 1892. OBIT: Mrs. Ellen PUGH, wife of Mr. Washington PECK, died last week of pneumonia. She was a daughter of J. T. PUGH,( above Joseph Thos.?), age 33 and left two small children. Wednesday 15, June 1892 Issue...subtract 7 days to get date. A letter was received by family of India PUGH in Beaver, TEXAS, mentioned that Mr. John APPLING and family have moved from near Beaver to Vernon TX. Wednesday 2, November 1892 issue..
