Do you know who the other children are?

It is possible that Corrine Nesbitt Northington (facing picture, third child from the left, middle row) is the granddaughter of a former slave. Samuel Edward Northington, and his two sons moved from near Raven Rock North Carolina to Montgomery County, Tennessee sometime around 1783. He took some slaves with him, and when emancipation took effect, the Northington slaves took the Northington name.
