Jesse N. Northington, 83, Kansas City, Kan., died June 3, 1987, at Bethany Medical Center.  He was born in Afton, Okla., and lived in Kansas City, Kan., for 60 years.
Mr. Northington was a painter and wallpaper hanger for 30 years until he retired.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades union.  He was a member of the Central AvenueMethodist Church.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Wyandotte post of the American Legion. He was a member of the Wyandotte Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Grace Northington, of the home; two sons, Bill R. Davies, Gladstone, and Robert E. Davies, Kansas City, Kan.; four daughters, Lucille Moore, Betty E. Ross and Shirley Tubbs, of Kansas City, Kan., and Bernice Brule, La Mirada, Calif.; six sisters, Edith Smith, Helen Stevens and Ruth Noblett of Kansas City, Kan., Mary Sudderfield, Harriett, Ark., Rose Redmond, Fort Worth, Texas, and Louise Carter, Cheney, Kan.; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Porter Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel, where Masonic services will be at 7 p.m.

Grace E. Northington, 87, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died March 25, 1994, in a nursing home in Tonganoxie, Kan., where she lived. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Mrs. Northington was born in Horton, Kan., and lived in Kansas City, Kan., most of her life. She moved to Tonganoxie six years ago. She was a member of the Central Avenue United Methodist Church, Kansas City, Kan. Survivors include two sons, Bill R. Davies, Gladstone, and Robert E. Davies, Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Betty E. Ross, Kansas City, Kan., and Shirley A. Tubbs, Tonganoxie; two stepdaughters, Lucille L. Moore and Bernice Brule of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; 38 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Bradley Paul NORTHINGTON, three months, passed away Monday, March 1,1999, at Children's Mercy Hospital. Memorial. Contributions may be made to the Children's Mercy Hospital Cardiac Center.

Nothington was born Dec 9, 1999, in Kansas City. Survivors include his parents, Jay and Carla of Liberty,grandparents, Robert W. Hill of Kansas City, Jesse and Joy Northington of Lee's Summit, and Russell and Donamae Rebman of Leawood,Ks: great-grandparents, Thelma Hill of Sweet Springs, Mo., Robert and Charlene Daniels of Ft. Lauderdale,Fla.,and Katherine Martin of Boliva.
