This site is a work in progess, created by and for the descendants of Colin Munro and Isabella Ross, who emigrated from Rosshire, Scotland in 1853.

They settled in Victoria, Australia and then emigrated again with their children to New Zealand in 1869/70.

We want to use this site to share information amongst ourselves, and hopefully to make contact with lost branches of the family.

As you will see, in some places we have more questions than answers, and some branches we haven't yet begun to work on. Can you help?
