This is Farrell's pub at Killeen, nearly opposite the Chapel....and after they went to mass the men would wander across the road for a drink in this pub.

Ned Dempsey was the owner of that pub in the 1930's and 40's. Apparently he received two years hard labour because he was nice to a certain member of staff in the his shop.
