Pearson) Sarah Elizabeth was the daughter of William Araspes and Zillah Ann Caroline (Barron) Culpepper. She was noted as a one year old with her parents in the 1870 census of Louina P. O. District of Randolph Co., AL and this is probably where she was born. This area is in the vicinity of what is now known as Wadley, AL. Sarah was also noted living with her parents in the 1880 cenus of Randolph Co., AL. Based on the age of their oldest known child, Sarah married Walker Pearson around 1887 and they settled down to raise their children. Sarah was 73 years when she lost her husband. She died in 1945 at the age of 75. |

At some point, the couple moved to Tifton, Tift Co., GA and this is where Ola died in 1947 at the age of 57. |
