The following death notice is undated and from an unknown source: Final Rites for Mrs. Zora Sewell At Lone Oak Mrs. Zora Culpepper Sewell 90, died Saturday morning at the Newnan Hospital where she had been a patient for 5 weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Allen Lee Memorial Methodist Church in Lone Oak. Rev. Kenneth Shaw pastor of the First Baptist Church of Grantville officiated and was assisted by Rev. Harry Long pastor of the Allen Lee Church. Burial was in the Churchyard. She made her home with Mrs. John Todd in Grantville. Mrs. Sewell had been a member of the Allen-Lee Methodist Church for 80 years. She was born in Meriwether County and was a member of families who have been prominent in the political and civic life of Meriwether County. She was the daughter of the late Pheraby Fling and J. D. Culpepper pioneer Meriwether County residents. Pallbearers were Edward Groggan [Goggans], Charlie Lee, Cecil Nall, Hubert Nall, Billy Lowery, and Trummie Elliott. She is survived by one brother Emmett Culpepper of Atlanta, Ga., and a number of nieces and nephews. Claude A. McKibben Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge. |

Nell Jones Buynitzky made it clear in a 1 Jan 1998 letter that her grandmother's name was "Paulina" and not Perlina but the Bible record clearly reads Perlina. |
