Essie was listed as a daughter in William Burton Culpepper's household on the 1900 Census at Attala Co., Mississippi.1 Essie was listed as a daughter in William Burton Culpepper's household on the 1910 Census at Attala Co., Mississippi.2 She married Ivan Sherman Williams at El Paso, El Paso Co., Texas, circa 1921.3 As of circa 1921, her married name was Williams. She appeared as a sister in a family photograph say 1935 at Attala Co., Mississippi.4
