Amelia H. “Millie” ADAMS.
Born on 13 May 1865 in Penn Township, Berks Co., PA. At the age of <1, Amelia H. “Millie” was baptized in Epler’s Reformed Church, Bern Twp., Berks Co., PA, on 9 May 1866.
Raised “adopted” but the records of Berks Co. Orphans Court were searched by David Adams and no record found. Only the petition brought by grandfather William Hiester has been located. GWL 12/2001
Amelia’s parents both died while she was very young. Amelia was “adopted” and raised by aunt and uncle John Hahn and Esther (Adam) Hahn. Lived at Penn Township, later Shamokin, Northumberland Co., PA.9
In Dec 1889 when Amelia H. “Millie” was 24, she married William Franklin FORRY, son of Franklin FORRY & Isabella. Born ca 1865.
