Some sources say he died 27 mar 1911 and is buried at Sinking Spring Cemetery.14
John Calvin ADAMS.
Born on 9 Jul 1895 in Wyomissing, Berks Co., PA. John Calvin died in West Reading, Berks Co., PA, on 13 Jul 1989; he was 94. Occupation: Worked as a punch press operator for Textile Machine Works.14
John Calvin married Miriam M. MERKEL. Born in 1896. Miriam M. died in 1991; she was 95. Buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks Co., PA.
Harvey ADAMS.
Born on 16 Jul 1899 in West Reading, Berks Co., PA. Harvey died in Shady Hollow Farm, Union Twp., Berks Co., PA, on 19 Jul 1986; he was 87. Buried in Sinking Spring, Spring Twp., Berks Co., PA. At the age of <1, Harvey was baptized in St. John’s Reformed Church, Sinking Spring, PA, on 12 Jan 1900. Occupation: blue print maker.

Harvy Adams, 87, of 32 S. Hull St., Sinking Spring, honorary president of the Izaak Walton League of American and state treasurer of the organizatnion, died Saturday at Shady Hollow Farm, Birdsboro R.D.3, Union Township. Deputy Coroner Charles E. Sweitzer said Adams collapsed and died of natural causes in a mobile home at the farm at 12:18p.m. Adams had been a director of the Berks County Chapter of the league for the past 52 years. He had been a national director for the past 22 years. He was elected honorary president of the national organization in 1982. He was given numerous conservation awards, including election the league's Hall of Fame in 1982. Adams was founder of the Schuyikill River Valley Restoration Association. He had recently been participation in legislative hearings as an advocate of the bottle bill and other recycling measures. Adams appeared on local radio shows and has spoken to many civic and educational groups on the impolrtance of preserving the outdoors for future generations. He had been a member of the OIlivet Boys Clup since 1914. His wife Frances G. (Speck) Adams. died in 1978. Born in West Reading, he was a son of the Late Aaron C. and Ida (Ruth) Adams. He worked as a blueprint maker at Gilbert Associates for 25 years, retiring in 1966. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by two sons, David H. of Sinking Spring and Gary H. of Mohnton, and six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Also, a brother, Calvin, of West Reading, and a sister, Lena, wife of Paul Seiger, Shillington.
On 25 Dec 1920 when Harvey was 21, he married Frances Gertrude SPECK, daughter of George SPECK & Gertrude PFLUM, in Reading, Berks Co., PA. Born in 1897 in Berks Co. PA. Frances Gertrude died in 1978; she was 81. Buried in Sinking Spring, Spring Twp., Berks Co., PA.

Lena Rebecca Ruth married Paul C. SEIGER. Born ca 1905 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. Paul C. died in Ft. Myers, Lee Co., FL, on 26 May 1970; he was 65. Occupation: store owner.
Reading City directories in 1930s indicate they lived at 109 Olive Street, West Reading. By 1960 they were owners of Eshelman’s Variety Store, 105 West Lancaster Ave., Shillington. In 1980 no listing for either Paul or Lena but at same address were Walter Seiger and a Mrs. Esther Howe.
