John married Christine (Twin) Summ  daughter of Johann Georg Summ and Anna Maria Schondelmaier on 29 Jun 1884 in Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin. Christine was born on 12 May 1860 in Gutach, Ortenau, Baden, Germany. She died in Wisconsin.

Immigrated on May 4, 1882 from Baden, Germany through Le Havre, France to New York. 

The family's surname is listed as Schondelmaier, not Summ.  The reason for this is probably

because they said they were going to their uncle Conrad Schondelmaier and got the name

confused with Conrad Summ:

Willliam married Sadie E. Hoffman .
 

               3 M        ii.  Charles Edward Zehner  was born on 21 Mar 1889 in Mayking, Wisconsin. He died in Oct 1973 in Vilas County, Wisconsin.

He was a Pvt., 1st Class, Co. B., 311th Engineers in WWI.  He served

from July 22, 1918 to June 21, 1919.  He was overseas from September 9,

1918to June 16, 1919.

Charles married Beatrice Morgan  on 22 May 1917 in Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin.
 

               4 M       iii.  George Abraham Zehner  was born on 25 Dec 1892 in Mayking, Wisconsin. He died on 6 Nov 1972 in Langlade County, Wisconsin.

He was a Pvt., 107th Trench Mortar Battery, 32nd Div.  He served from April 21,

1917 to May 15, 1919.  He was overseas from February 17, 1918 to April 30,

1919.  He was in the battles of "Alsace defensive Chateau-Thierry, Juvigny and

Muese-Argonne offensives." 

George married Alice Jones  on 11 May 1925 in Bessemer, Gogebic County, Michigan. Alice died on 29 Aug 1969 in Langlade County, Wisconsin.
 

               5 F        iv.  Sadie Edna Zehner  was born on 22 Aug 1900 in Mayking, Wisconsin.

Sadie married Harry W. Wilson  on 19 Sep 1928.
