John lived on Polar St. right off of Muller's Lake in Polar.

Johann married Anna Weishaupt  daughter of Joseph Weishaupt and Maria Anna Kasper on 28 Sep 1887 in Newburgh’s Corner, La Crosse County, WI. Anna was born on 6 May 1867 in Graber (Kravaře), Leitmeritz (Litomerice), Bohemia (Czech Republic). She died on 11 Jan 1951 in Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin. She was buried in Antigo Cemetery, Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin.

Immigrated on June 10, 1869 to New York aboard the Helvetia.

Susanna married Joseph E. Stromstad  son of Daniel Stromstad and Bertha Amundsen on 7 Oct 1911. Joseph was born on 21 Mar 1885 in Wisconsin. He died.

Herman married Dorothy "Dora" Margaret Carlson . Dorothy was born on 25 Aug 1907. She died on 7 Feb 1985 in Langlade County, Wisconsin.
 

             11 M       x.  Irvin Albert Stuempges  was born on 19 Sep 1906 in Coon Valley, Vernon County, Wisconsin. He died on 1 Jan 1980.

Irvin married Audrey Loretto Meye  daughter of Gustave Meye and Golden Shaver on 2 May 1928 in Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin. Audrey was born on 4 Oct 1908 in Prentice, Wisconsin. She died on 30 Oct 2002 in Park Manor Nursing Home, Park Falls, Wisconsin.

PARK FALLS Audrey L. Stuempges, age 94, of Park Falls, died Wednesday,

Oct. 30, 2002, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born

on Oct. 4, 1908, in Prentice, the daughter of Gustave and Golden (Shaver)

Meye. Her early life and schooling were in Prentice. In 1927, she moved

to Antigo. On May 2, 1928, she married Irvin Albert Stuempges in Antigo.

The couple moved to Park Falls where Audrey was a homemaker and worked

for the Park Falls Hospital. She loved gardening and especially

flower gardening.

She is survived by four children, Ervin (Darlene) Stuempges of Wales; Leonard

(Lois) Stuempges of Butternut, Audrey (Jack) Izzard of Platteville, and Ken

Stuempges of Shell Knob, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 20great-grandchildren; eight

great-grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Rose of Scottsburg, Ind.; and numerous

nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Irvin in 1980;

twograndsons Larry and Craig; four sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, from Peace Lutheran

Church in Park Falls. The Rev. Bryan Lundquist will officiate.

Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the Novitzke Funeral Home in Park Falls today,

Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Friday from 9a.m. until the

hour of the service at the church.

             12 F        xi.  Bernice Stuempges  was born on 22 Nov 1911 in Coon Valley, Vernon County, Wisconsin. She died on 29 Oct 2001 in Antigo, Langlade County, Wisconsin.

Bernice married Joseph Hanke  on 8 Aug 1928. Joseph was born on 15 Sep 1905 in Bohemia.
