October 18, 1933 - page 5. Obituary Mrs. Neils Mikkelson Mrs. Christina Mikkelson, aged 89

years, widow of the late Neils Mikkelson of Polar, who died on May 26, 1933, at the age of 93

years, passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs.

August Holtz, this city. The deceased, nee Christina Theisen, was born March 13, 1845 in

Denmark, and was married to Neils Mikkelson on January 19, 1864, and to this union fourteen

children were born, nine of whom are living. They are: Nick, Baker, Montana; Maurice, Polar;

Charles, Antigo, Route 1; Mike, Rhinelander; Lottie (Mrs. Charles Walker), Choate; Myrtle (Mrs.

August Holtz), Antigo; Robert, Antigo; Ray, Polar; Garnetta (Mrs. Joseph Benovich), Antigo.

Forty -seven grandchildren and twenty -two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services

will be held tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the old home at Muller's Lake, and

interment will be in the town of Polar cemetery. 

Neils and Anna had the following children:
