Age 67, died on December 24, 1999, surrounded by her husband and children

at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1932, in Rolling,

Wisconsin, to the late Arthur and Myrtle (Mikkelson) Ingalls. She married

Lauron Stuempges on July 7, 1951, in Lily, Wisconsin.

Ruth spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and a caring and

generous friend to all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and

a great artistic talent. Ruth loved to crochet, knit, and sew and she shared her

creations freely. Survivors include her husband, Lauron two daughters, Brenda

(David Elsner) Krause, Appleton, and Debra (Larry) Nelsen, Waupaca two

sons, John (Lisa) Stuempges, West Bend, and Mark Stuempges, Appleton

five grandchildren, Mark Hummel, Neenah Wade Hummel, Appleton Greg

Krause, Green Bay Andra and Daniel Nelsen, Waupaca two step-

grandchildren, Corey and Adam Wanty, Neenah three great-grandchildren,

Joshua, Sarah, and Jeremiah Brickham- Hummel, Neenah six brothers and

three sisters and her special friend, Phyllis Manning, Menasha. Her oldest

brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday,

December 29, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo,

Wisconsin. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from

4 until 8 p.m. Interment will be at Lily Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. Ruth
