He married GRACE VICTORIA BALL 23 December 1934 in Kitts, Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of MOSES BALL and NARCISSUS SMITH. She was born 24 June 1909 in Ages, Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 07 May 1969 in Trenton, Wayne County, Michigan.
