~ Scouts hear judge speak ~ | |

Cub Scout Pack 203 held its "Blue and Gold Banquet" on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the lunchroom of the Immaculate Conception Church. The scouts are also celebrating their 50th anniversary. Father Spaulding opened the banquet with a prayer. The hall was decorated in blue and gold. The parents prepared the meal and a big thank-you should go to them. The business session was started by Mr. Gene Piatkowski, chariman of the event, who introducted the guests, District Judge Dennis Fritz spole on the "Constitution of the United States" and how it applied to the Cub Scouts and everyone. Mr. Donald Lawrence spoke on "Happy Birthday" and also presented the awards. Awards given were: Joey Hagan, Wolf-Cub of the Month; Patrick Pitts -One Bear, one Gold, two Silver Arrows; Robert Gayhart -one Silver Arrow; Jonathan Roberts, Wolf, one Gold Arrow; Eugene Piatkowski - Wolf; Matt Robinson - one Gold Arrow; Lance Hall - Cub of Month; Stephen Pace - one Bear; Jeffrey Spainhaur, Cub of Month; Jeff Aeh - one Wolf, one Gold Arrow; Jeff Creet - one Bear; Curt Lindemauer - one Bear, one Silver, one Gold; Kenneth Ott - one Bear, one Silver; Michael Brey - Cub of Month. WEBELOS; Daniel White - Science Award; Chris Dobb - Cub of Month; Den No. 3 - Attendance Award; Roberts Office Supply - Appreciation Award; Window Display - Mrs. Thelma Joyce Smith; Den No. 4 - Table Decoration accepted by Mrs. Judy Bray and Mrs. Davidson. | |
