9 August 1824: Patrick Snead of Oldham : Sells to Thomas Mount for $385 a tract in Oldham on Currys fork, being part of a large survey in the name of Ballard Smith, 87 acres, 131 poles. (Bounded by division line between Snead and Millers heirs, corner to Branders Fisher, original line of Ballard Smiths Survey, corner to John Mount). Sig. Patrick Snead & Elizabeth Snead. Elizabeth relinquishes right of dower.
22 Apr 1825: Archibale P. Howe of Oldham: To John Mount of same, for $325 a tract on waters of Floydsfork, (Beg. corner to John Mount, Pollock's line, Wooden's line ) 100 acres. Wits. Will Clayton, John C. Steele. Signed : A. P. How, Matilda (X) How. Matilda relinquished right of dower.
