William Allen France
Funeral services for William Allen France 85, Grays, KY were conducted at the Cox cemetery at Grays yesterday, with Rev. W M Kelly in charge. Mr. France passed away in the Pineville hospital Sunday. He has two sons, Dan of Artemus and Jeff of Grays.
Sallie (France) York
Pineville: Mrs. Sallie France York died April 22 in Pineville Community Hospital after a short illness. She was 82 years old. Born in Scott County, Virginia in 1874, Mrs. York had made her home in Bell County for the past 67 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Pineville.
Funeral Services will be held at the Arnett Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday at 2 pm with the Rev. J G Carr and Rev. W B Bingham officiating. The body is at the Arnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pineville.
She is survived by her husband, I T York; two daughters, Mrs. Ida B Ball, Knoxville and Mrs. Fola Mae Durham, Wallins; tow sons, George W York, Cincinnati and Dewey York, Pineville; two grand children, Jack Y Durham, Wallins and Gregory Ball, Knoxville; three sisters, Mrs. J T Lockard, Mrs. Mary Price and Mrs. Dora Hampton, all of Pineville; two brothers, R E France and James France, Pineville; several nieces and nephews

Robert Edward France
Robert Edward France, well known resident of 328 4th Street, Pineville, KY., died at Pineville Community Hospital on April 22, at 5 a.m. He was born on May 18, 1871, in Scott County VA., and came to Pineville as a very young man. Hew as a member of the First Methodist Church of Pineville and had been with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 40 years.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Alma Stout, Worthville, KY., Mrs. Dale Hart, Dovey, NJ., Mrs. Elizabeth Petty, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Marie Johnson, Pineville, and Mrs.. Edna Seal of San Diego, Calif. three sons, C R France and Billy S France of Pineville and Andrew J France, San Diego Calif., one brother , Jim France of Pineville; two sisters, Mrs. Liddie Lockard of Pineville and Mrs. George Hampton of Pineville. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 24, at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Pugh officiating.
Maggie (France) Orr
Maggie Orr, 63 years old, died last Saturday after an illness of a year. Funeral services were held at the home of a sister, Mrs. George Hampton, Sunday under the direction of Durham Funeral Home with Rev. J A McCord officiating.
Surviving are five children, James, Rubin, and Anna, Mrs. Francis Seabolt, Pineville, Mrs. Mary Gambrel, Pineville; four sisters Mrs. J T Lcokard, Mrs. Sallie York, Mrs. George Hampton, and Mrs. Price, Pineville; two brothers, Robert France and Jim France, Pineville. Burial was in the Wallsend Cemetery.
Mary Jane (France) Price
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at teh Nazarene Church in Pineville for Mary Jane Price 75, who died June 2 in the Pineville Community Hospital. Officiating ministers will be the Revs., Melvin Abney and W W Nails.
Pallbearers will be George Lee Lockard, Charles Hampton, Johnny Lockard, Orville Jones. Robert Jeffery and Wesley Stewart. Honorary pallbearers are Buster Miracle, George Reece Jr., Dr. James Golden, Dr. George M Asher, J S Chappell and Reid Calloway.
She is survived by eight children, Fred Price, Pineville; Lola Bryant, Harlan , Mrs. Grand O Dell, Benham; Mrs. Garland Stafford, Keokee, Mrs. Arnold Stinhaver, Cincinnati, Ohio;, Mrs. Edward Evans, Pineville, Mrs. Cecil Saylor, California, Virgil Price, Pineville, 31 grandchildren; tow sisters, Mrs. Lida Lee Lockard, Pineville, Mrs. Dora Hampton, Pineville and two brothers, Bob and Jim France both of Pineville. Durham Funeral Home in charge.
Dora (France) Hampton
Mrs. Dora Hampton age 89, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 1976 at the Pineville Nursing Home, following a long illness. Mrs. Hampton was born February 14, 1886 in Bell County and was the daughter of the late Cisco and Nancy France.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Maggie Miracle and Mrs. Thelma Lee, both of Pineville, Mrs. Octavia Brock and Mrs. Opal Barnhill, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, one son, Frank Hampton of Lima, Ohio and one sister Lida Lockhard of Pineville.
The funeral services will be held Friday, January 9 at 2 pm in the Durham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bill Poore and Rev. W B Bingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. The Durham Funeral Home is in charge.

Oakley France
Manchester Heights: Oakley France age 86, of Manchester Heights, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday morning, February 21, 1996, at the Patti A Clay Hospital in Richmond, Kentucky. He was a farmer.
He is survived by the following children: Don France and Leon France both of Berea, Kentucky, Elmer France of Indianapolis, Indiana, Charles France of Clearwater Florida, Edith Thompson of Aurora, Indiana, Edna Reuhl of Silver Grove, Indiana, and Edna Mae Crawford of Spencer, Indiana. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Rant France of Horse Creek, Kentucky, Caleb France of Manchester, Kentucky, Tex France of Rose Hill Virginia, Daisy Isom of Cottongim, Kentucky and Lillie Hicks of Manchester, Kentucky
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 24, at 11 am at Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Henson officiating. Burial followed in the France Cemetery on Horse Creek. Britton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mary France
Manchester- Mary Magdalene France 76 of Manchester, died Thursday November 17 at Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband Oakley France and the following children: Earl France, Melbourn, KY, Leon France St. Louis MO, Elmer France of Indianapolis IN, Charles France St. Petersburg, FL, Donald France Richmond KY, Roger France Manchester KY, Edith Ranshaw, Florence KY, Virgie Crawford, Spencer, IN, and Edna Smith of Covington, KY.
Also surviving were 30 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Carlo Stewart Goose Creek, Obie Stewart, Horse Creek and Elbert Stewart of Horse Creek.
Services were held at 1 pm Sunday November 20, at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Henson and Paul Stewart officiating. Burial was in the France Cemetery on Horse Creek.
Cecil France
Cecil (Jack) France Found Dead
A cerebral Hemorrhage has been credited as the cause of death of Jack France, 33, at Curry Branch Sunday. Determination was made by the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Lexington, following an autopsy.
France died at the home of Hugh Curry, with whom he had spent the night. An investigation at the scene by a coroners jury indicated no foul play and requested the autopsy at Lexington. Curry told the jury he awoke Sunday to find France dead lying on the floor beside the bed. The men had slept in separate rooms.
The body lie instate at the Britton Funeral Home until Funeral time. He was the son of Oakley and Magdalene Stewart France. He married Edna Mae Jarvis. Surviving beside the parents are tow daughters Jacqueline 3 and Ann Jean 2.
Three sisters and six brothers: Earl France, California, Leon, Elmer, and Charles all of Indianapolis Indiana, Donald Ray and Roger France at home, Edith Hagah, Cincinnati, OH, Virgie Crawford, Plymouth Michigan, and Edna Smith Blue Hole.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2pm at the Horse Creek Holiness Church conducted by the Revs. Tom J Henson and Wm (Jake) Brumley. Burial was in the Herd Cemetery at Silbert. Britton Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Roger France
Manchester- Roger France, age 36, of Manchester, Kentucky died Friday November 26, 1993 at his home. He was a security guard for Storm Security and served in the Army.
He leaves surviving his wife, Mary Ann France. His father Oakley France of Richmond Kentucky. Two daughters, Kimberly Renee France and Ashley France, both of Manchester Kentucky. Two step children Roy Anthony Smallwood and Billie LeRay Jones, both of Manchester. He also leaves surviving eight brothers and sisters, Donald Ray France of Richmond, Kentucky, Earl France of Melbourne, Kentucky, Leon France of Mississippi, Elmer France of Indianapolis, Indiana, Charles France of Clearwater, Florida, Edna Ruehl of Silver Grove, Kentucky, Virgie Crawford and Edith Thompson, both of Indiana.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 29 at 1pm at Horse Creek Holiness Church with reverend's Ernest Silbert and Donald Ray Gray officiating . Burial followed in the France Cemetery at Horse Creek. Britton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Teresa Marie France
Teresa M France 18 month old daughter of Leon and Blanche (Head) France of R 1 Cicero, died Thursday September 27, 1979, in Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She was born March 6, 1978 in Tipton.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Katheryn and Patricia, and two brothers, Lee and Earl, all at home; maternal grandfather Joe L Head of Cincinnati, Ohio, and paternal grandparents, Oakley and Magdalean France of Manchester Ky.
Services will be 3 pm Sunday in Hartley Funeral Home in Arcadia. The Rev. Dale Kuhns of Arcadia Christian Church will officiate, Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery southwest of Arcadia. Friends may call after 2pm Saturday at the funeral home.
