However, the ancestors of Samuel Coish, and also including the supposed first marriage in Devon, are a large assumption on the part of the writer and is only a strong theory at this point. Only Samuel (183) and Mary Crummey (184) and their descendants is to be considered as close to accuracy as possible considering the possibility for human error while collecting data.

We, the family of the late William J. Coish and of the late Mrs. Dorothy Williamson wish to express our sincere thanks to all our friends, neighbours and relatives for the kindnes shown to us during our recent bereavements of a dear huband and father, and a dear daughter and sister. Special thanks to Dr. Petrie, Rev. D. Roach, Rev. R. Feltmate, the choir and organist of Calvin United Church. Williamson: The funeral of the late Mrs. Dorothy Williamson of New Waterford was held Sunday, June 3, 1973 from the V. J. McGillivray Funeral Home in time for services at Calvin United Church at 3 p.m. Rev. D. Roach officiated. Pallbearers were the six brothers of the deceased, Clarence, Jim, Cyril, Eddie, Tom, Murray. Burial took place at Union Grove Cemetery where Rev. D. Roach offered prayers at the graveside.
Coish: The funeral of the late William J. Coish, New Waterford, was held Wednesday, May 23, 1973 from the V. J. McGillivray Funeral Home in time for services at Calvin United Church at 2 p.m. Rev. R. Feltmate officiated. Pallbearers were the six sons of the deceased: Clarence, Jim Cyril, Eddie, Tom and Murray. Burial took place at Union Grove Cemetery where Rev. R. Feltmate offered prayers at the graveside.
William married 2 Louise ROSE [scrapbook] 1 daughter of Thomas ROSE and Annie Jane Winsor WALSH on 1 May 1923 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. Louise was born 3 on 20 Apr 1902 in Oche Pit Cove, Newfoundland. She died 4 on 2 Feb 1982 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia.

From Bill Garland: Herb married his own half-sister, Flora Perfect. No blood relationship. Herb's mother, Harriet, married Flora's father long after both Herb and Flora were born out of previous marriages. Herb died at age 83 years, 6 months.
