However, the ancestors of Samuel Coish, and also including the supposed first marriage in Devon, are a large assumption on the part of the writer and is only a strong theory at this point. Only Samuel (183) and Mary Crummey (184) and their descendants is to be considered as close to accuracy as possible considering the possibility for human error while collecting data.

From Bill Garland: Victoria died in childbirth or soon after since Ernest never knew his mother. He was raied by Samuel and his third wife, Harriet Wilcox from about the age of 3. Victoria had large legs and may be the source of the lynphedema that Gordon Perfect and his daughter Elsie Perfect have.
Victoria married Samuel PERFECT 1. Samuel was born 2, 3 on 11 May 1857 in Ochre Pit Cove, Conception Bay, Nfld.. He was christened 4 on 22 Sep 1857 in Methodist.
From Bill Garland: 3rd wife was Harriet Skinner (nee Wilcox). No children from Harriet. See Harriet Wilcox for details on her marriage to Skinner and see Herbert Skinner for a note on his marriage to his half sister. Headstone says he died at age 76 but, in fact, he was almost 76.
