He died on 10 Nov 1901 in Kansas City, Wayandotte, Kansas. He and his wife Elizabeth (Christy) Herron had eight children. I am searching for his father and mother.

MacKintosh Gilbert Lochrutton Parish, Kirkcudbright Scotland 1777 - 1823 Virginia Gilbert worked for the Robert Johnstone Family at the Auchinfranco farm. He married their daughter Janet 24 Mar 1780. They had one daughter, Jannet who married John Thomson of Dumfrieshire. They emigrated to Canada in 1817.

McIntosh Gordon Illinois USA 1880 - 1930 Kenneth This is possibly my Great Grandfather or one of his brothers, very little is known other then he was from Illinois and possibly New York.We have a family bible dated 1896 with his name on the cover but no family information was ever filled out.He is believed to be either the Father or Uncle of Gordon McIntosh of Illinois.

McIntosh Grace County Down Ireland 1850 - 1865 Janice Lived in Pittsburgh, PA from 1865-1929. Grace was my maternal great-grandmother, and very little is known of her family in Ireland. She married Robert McClain.
