"One of the legal size papers in the James McMurry estate papers is one filed by his widow Sidney Mary Ann is which she states that her husband died on the 3rd day of January, 1858. I think I have told you in the past that when I read the inscriptions on James McMurry’s gravestone that I believe it was actually inscribed 3 Jan 1858 and that whoever read it some twenty five years ago interpreted a natural seam or crack in the limestone as a 1(one) and wrote the date of death in the cemetery book as 13 Jan 1858. I believe that I mailed prints of McMurry Cemetery pictures that I made about 1997 to you several years ago. A while ago, I scanned those prints and am attaching them hereto.
