Before her marriage Eva worked as the secretary to the Managing director of "Thomas Headley" Soap manufacturers in Newcastle.
She liked going dancing.
After she was married she never worked.
She liked to crochet and made tablecloths, which were sent to Ireland to be mounted on linen. She also liked reading.
