In his will dated 1751 Anthony Eastgate, weaver, gives the following bequests:
To his wife, Mary - the dwelling in Blackwell Gate & Blackwell Lane for the remainder of her life.
After her death:
To his son Anthony - £20 & the dwelling in Blackwell Lane. 
To his son Robert - £40
To his daughter Mary - £20 & the dwelling in Blackwell Gate, for her life and later to her heirs. 

Mary Eastgate, 1767

Anthony's widow, Mary gives the following bequests:
To her son Anthony 1 guinea
To her grandson Joseph Hopton - £15
To her daughter Mary Hopton - the remainder 


Apparently neither Anthony nor Mary could sign their name.
