A Memorial of a certain indenture bearing the date 24th day of July 1843, made between: Isabella Cowling of Craggs in Bishopside in the parish of Ripon in the county of York, widow, of the first part John Cowling of Pateley Bridge in the county of York, gardener, of the second part And William Cowling of Craggs in Bishopside aforesaid, stonemason of the third part Of and concerning all that cottage or tenement with the peat house, garden or garth thereunto adjoining and belonging situate at Craggs in Low Bishopside aforesaid late in the occupation of the said Isabella Cowling, but now in the occupation of the said William Cowling . Together with app to the same and all other hereditaments (if any) by therein recited will of William Wood, formerly of LB, yeoman, deceased, devised unto her, the said Isabella Cowling for her life.
