Stewarton, aged 29, a labourer, with wife Janet aged 35, dau Jean
aged 7, and son James aged 4, all born Ayrshire.
1851: John was a widower
by this census living at 39 Fulwood, Stewarton, employed as a
farm labourer, with daus Jean, Margaret and son John. Son James
was at 37 Fullwood employed as a farm servant.
