1861: at Townend, Fenwick,
Ayrshire aged 53, a farmer (of 75 acres), with wife Jean aged 48,
and children Margaret aged 18, Mary aged 17, James aged 11,
Thomas aged 9, Jean aged 7, David aged 4, and Janet aged 1. Also
there was John Connell aged 17, ploughman b Galston.
1871: at Tounend, Fenwick,
Ayrshire aged 64, farmer (of 75 acres), with wife Jean aged 58,
and children Mary aged 27, Thomas aged 19, Jane aged 17, and
Janet aged 11.
