1813: Richard
Sampson's will makes clear that he leaves the farm to his natural
son William Bosankoe. Also on the Rogers Pedigree in the Society
of Geneologists, London, written by a man called Rogers, from
information given by Cornish families in ? victorian times he
says 'William Bosankoe took the name of Sampson on inheriting
Drrym in 1813'.
1841: at Drym, Crowan,
Cornwall aged 49, a farmer, with wife Charity aged 47, and
children William aged 20, Mary aged 20, Margaret aged 15, Richard
aged 15, Thomas aged 13, and John aged 8. Mother in Law Jane
James aged 78.
1851: at Drym, Crowan,
Cornwall aged 58, a farmer, with wife Charity aged 57, and
children Richard aged 24, Thomas aged 22, and John aged 18. Also
there Ann Penaluna, servant, aged 33 b Breage Cornwall, Susan
Stephens, servant, aged 15, b Breage Cornwall, and Michael
Luzmore, servant, aged 13, b Crowan .
