John died on Sat 22 Apr
1754 in Fenwick, Ayrshire.
Fenwick Burial Register:
Upon Tuesday 25 Apr 1754, John Howie, farmer in Loughgoin, was
buried. Bell rung. He went from his own house Saturday
before to Roualand & from that to Stewarton and in his return
home at night Died within half a mile of his own House and was
found Sunday morning.
