1841: at Vennel Street,
Dalry, Ayrshire aged 48, a shoe maker, with wife Agnes aged 44,
and children Adam aged 19, Thomas aged 18, William aged 13, and
James aged 11. Also there were Robert Kerr aged 17, an apprentice
shoemaker, and Jean Hunter aged 14, a servant, both born outside
of Ayrshire.
