at Broomlands Farm, Irvine, Ayrshire aged 45. a farmer (of 100
acres employing 1 man, 1 girl, 1 boy), with wife Margaret aged 35,
and children Robert aged 12, Mary aged 11, John aged 9, Elizabeth
aged 7, Margaret aged 5, and Jane aged 3. A servant Martha
Douglas aged 16, b Ayr, was also there.
1901:
at Shields Farm House, St Quivox, Ayrshire aged 65, a farmer,
with wife Margaret aged 55, and children John aged 29, and Lizzie
aged 27.
