History. Ernest E Hinchley was a commercial traveller (leather).
Marriage 1897 in Sheffield to Esther Gertrude H Strike
There were two Children.
Edna Vera (b1902 . d1966 ??) and Edward Ernest (b1907. d1973).
BUT EE and Mrs E G Hinchley are said to have died in their early thirties (say 1907/11.)
Vera and Edward were then brought up by their Hinchley and/or Strike grandparents or other relatives
Vera in Cornwall / Devon? Edward in Sheffield.
Cornwall. Edna Vera Hinchley married a doctor? Irvine R Jones, in Caxton Cambridgeshire,
in 1924, --- then Mr Jones died in Plymouth in 1926?
In 1927 Edna Vera married Hywel Evans in Caernarvon.
It is thought that they were eventually divorced.
Our next location for Edna V is in the 1950s in Launceston.
She was a Sister in a Hospital. So where did she study and qualify ?
She was housekeeper to Mr Charles S.E. "Pop" Payne, (in Launceston)

in Germany after the 1914/18 war, with The Army Reserve.
He served with the 8th Army in the Second World War 39/45 with
the West Yorks Regiment and the Northumberland Fusiliers
Ireland. Edward E.(1905) married
Jean McKinney in NI in 1928.
They had 5 children between 1929 and 1942, of which 3 still living.
From whom there were 12 offspring (8 still living).
During the 1945 Demob this family stayed in Sheffield at Upper Valley Road.
