Cornwall, England NOTE:..JOHN VERMAN, of Lamorran, succeeded his elder brother, GEORGE VERMAN, who died without issue in Ireland, with ROBERT, Earl of Essex, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. Hereford, Sheriff of London in 1419. Sir RALPH VERNEY, M.P. in the Restoration Parliament, was created a baronet in 1661. His son, Sir JOHN VERNEY, the second baronet, was created Viscount Fermanagh in 1703. RALPH, the second Viscount Fermanagh, was created Earl of Verney in 1742. The second earl died without issue.
