Johann Heinrich and Wilhelmine HENCKEL Eifenbachs Mill, in the community of Holzhausen.
In the year of Christ one hundred eighteen and forty eight at the first of October were after presenting district and
county certificates sure that there are no legal obstacles standing in the way of their matrimonial connection, both in
civil as well as legal conditions of marriage execution, and as well with the consent of both parents, who are still
alive.
Respecting to the canonical requirements of the priest and after three previous proclamation, both in the church of
Breidenbach, as well as in the church of Holzhausen, are married and consecrated in the church of Holzhausen:
Johann Heinrich HENCKEL, new and prospective villager and miller of the Eifenbachs Mill, belonging to the
community Holzhausen, unmarried, marital son of the villager and miller Johann Jost HENCKEL of Breidenstein in
the community of Breidenbach, Biedenkopf district government, and his wife Anna Margaretha nee ORTMUELLER,
age twenty-two years,
and Wilhelmine HOF unmarried, marital daughter of the villager and miller Kaspar HOF from the Eifenbachs Mill, in
the community of Holzhausen and his wife Susanne, nee SCHAEFER, twenty years old.
Witnesses of the ceremony were:
1) Kaspar HOF, father of the bride and
2) Stephan KOCH, villager and carpenter of Frohnhausen, Biedenkopf district government.
The present protocol have signed together with me, the priest, at copulation time:
