Before coming to America, John Stark (A Merchant) and his son, James Stark lived in Glascow Scotland. The Stark Family is one of twenty family clans that have the same crest under the Robertson family, but the plaid on the crest belongs to the Stark family. John Stark and his second son, James came to America in 1710. Archibald and wife and their four children left Ireland and started their voyage to America and arrived in 1720. All four of their children died with small pox on the voyage here Kilts sell for as much as $500 in Scotland. This Crest was a gift from my grandaughter that bought it in Scotland in August 2001.
