BELLE VERNON NOTES
Mrs. Joseph McCLAIN of Speer street, is a patient in the
Charleroi-Monessen hospital, where she is undergoing treatment for a
serious calf? injury, received Thursday evening at her home.
Henry SCHMIDT has returned to his studies in the Belle Vernon [Pa]
schools, after having been absent for some time due to illness.
The December meeting of the Phil_thea class of the Methodist church,
which was scheduled for.... coupled with a Christmas party at the home
of Mrs. Marjorie RESKLEY, Orchard Plan.
William GRIFFITH of Pittsburgh is in Belle Vernon [Pa], where he was
called die to the death of his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth GRIFFITH on Bluff
street.
Miss Bess McCLAIN is reported confined to her home on Speer street,
due to illness.
Mrs. Curtiss PROVINCE of Fairhope [Pa} has been called to Chicago,
Illinois by the serious illness of her father.
Harry Grant of Wood street is a patient in the Mercy hospital in
Pittsburgh.
Ruth Ellen MORGAN is recovering at her home on Main street, from
slight injuries sustained when she was struck by a truck Wednesday.
