The Allens were supposedly Quakers.
Their home was on the Monongahela River Underground RR Route

These 2 photos were vexed by faulty printer ink, making both colored by hot pink. I tried to do some color adjustments on both to bring out the green grass, green-blue house roof and reddish roof on the nearer house (left photo).

There is supposed to be a hidden entrance to a secret area used for slaves in the Underground Railroad.
