Frederick Loyd Clutter

West Finley farmer.
Frederick Loyd Clutter, 59, of West Finley, died at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. He was born March 26, 1947, in West Finley, a son of the late Willis and Melza Ealy Clutter. Mr. Clutter was a graduate of McGuffey High School, was a farmer and had been employed by Federal Paper Board and Industrial Gasket and Shim. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, LOOM 22 of Washington and American Legion Post 639 of Claysville. Mr. Clutter was an avid hunter. On May 16, 1997, he married Margaret "Puddy" Knox, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Paula (Ron) Sanders of Claysville and Pam McAdoo of Washington; a stepdaughter, Paula Berry of Washington; two stepsons, Samuel (Carla Tylus) Swan Jr. of Washington and Ronald (Lisa) Swan of Houston; seven brothers, Raymond (Willodean) Clutter of Claysville, Leo (Virginia) Clutter of Scenery Hill, John (Irene) Clutter of North Olmstead, Ohio, Roy (Sue) Clutter of Sycamore, Reed Clutter of Waynesburg, Larry (Joan) Clutter of Pennsburg and George (Barbara) Clutter of Little River, S.C.; two sisters, Lena (Robert) Taylor and Nancy (Jim Waychoff) Adkins, both of Washington; five grandchildren, Brett, Kylie and Bryce Sanders and Mariah and Bailey McAdoo; several stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Willis and Louis Clutter; two sisters, Lucille Katsaros and Margaret Amon; and a son-in-law, Scott McAdoo.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, with the Rev. Mary J. Sprowls officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
