| A Handy Marker - the spokes sticking out of the wheel
creates evenly spaces "markers" which set an even distance
between the plantings. The wheel had different holes set at
varying distances - to change the distance to mark, the farmer would
change the position of the spokes sticking out. The marker wheel
would be used in a plowed area. |
