Dead Robber Identified
Middleburg, Pa., Jan. 13 [1903] -- Word was received yesterday here
that the robber who was shot by Rev. J. B. SHELLENBERGER, Nov. 30, and
who died without disclosing his identity, was William BAY, of McALLISTER,
Juniata county [Pa]. A brother-in-law of the dead man recognized
his picture, which was published in a local paper. It was also
learned yesterday that Rev. Mr. SHELLENBERGER had been summoned by the
council of the Dunkard church to answer charges of taking up arms
against a fellow man. |
