ENDEAVORS PRACTICE SONGS FOR COUNTY RETREAT AT FUN NIGHT
Christian Endeavors of the First Presbyterian church (sic) spent the evening of their last summer holiday in another of their popular "Fun Nights." Last night's party was held in the social rooms of the church, and was in charge of the president, Miss Clara CLARK. As the annual Washington County Endeavor Retreat is but a few days in the future, the Endeavors spent the evening in practicing games and songs to be used during the program of the retreat. The young church workers then presented one of their members, Charles CORE, with a military gift, prior to his leaving in the near future for Army Service. The evening was concluded by the Endeavors enjoying a "bum's lunch." |
