PETITION FOR
LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION.
To the Honorable
Robert F. SHUTLER, Judge of the County Court of the
County of Kingfisher, State of Oklahoma.
The petition of Joseph H. HALSEY of Custer County,
Oklahoma, respectfully shows:
That Andrew M. HALSEY died, intestate, on or about the
12th day of June 1916 in the Town of Sinton County of San
Patricio and State of Texas.
That said deceased at the time of his death was a
resident of the County of Kingfisher, and State of
Oklahoma.
That said deceased left real estate in said Kingfisher
County, and the value and character of said property, so
far as known to your petitioner, are as follows, to-wit:
Lots Fifteen, (15), sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) in
Block Ninety One (91) City of Kingfisher, Kingfisher
County, Oklahoma, same being improved rental residence
property.
That the whole estate and effects for or in respect of
which Letters of Administration are herby applied for, do
not probably exceed the value of Five Thousand DOLLARS.
That the names, ages and residence of the heirs at law of
the decedent, so far as known to your petitioner, are as
follows:
Fannie E. BELL, daughter, age 48 years, residence Eagle
City, Oklahoma.
Minnie Adela SMITH, daughter, age 46 years, residence
LaKemp, Oklahoma.
John M. HALSEY, son, age 44 years, residence Sinton,
Texas.
Annie L. JONES, daughter, age 42 years, residence Lakemp,
Oklahoma.
Burgess J. HALSEY, son, age 40 years, residence
Grandview, Mo.
Nina E. YOUNT, daughter, age 37 years, residence
Bridgeport, Oklahoma.
Joseph H. HALSEY, son, age,34 years, residence Moorewood,
Oklahoma.
Rose PEDIGO, daughter, age 30 years, residence
Bridgeport, Oklahoma.
Andrew F. HALSEY, son, age 25 years, residence Ashland,
Kansas.
That due search and inquiry have been made to ascertain
if said deceased left any will and testament, but none
have been found, and according to the best knowledge,
information and belief of your petitioner, said deceased
died intestate.
That your petitioner is son of said deceased and
therefore, as your petitioner is advised and believes
entitled to Letters of Administration of said estate:
That the other children of deceased hereby waive right to
administer and request the appointment of Joseph H.
HALSEY as such administrator.
