"A lovely old wall plaque, inside the north wall, to a parishioner. It has photographed well and needs no explanation. My schoolboy Latin tells me that the motto, loosely translated, means “Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant”!  The Church leaflet says that his legacy (whatever it was) is still distributed at Christmas time, but they don’t say to whom and in what form."
