"Halsey" Church, St. John the Baptist
Great Gaddesden, Hertfordshire

Photos by Jim Halsey

photo # 16 --

"This picture is another set of "arms," this time
for Frederick Halsey eldest son and heir of Charles
Halsey, who was "made Commissary General of the allied
Armies in Germany and afterwards appointed Aid de Camp to his Serene Highness the Hereditary Prince of Brunswick."
Frederick died in 1762 aged 35.

There are half a dozen or so "coats or arms" in the Bone House. Each son and heir, and each wife too,
seems to have had his or her own."
