HONORED--The Rev. Walter Halsey of Appleton was honored this week at Omaha, Nebraska, at the founders' day observance at Omaha university. The retired Presbyterian minister is one of the founders of the school and was its first dean, serving 10 years. He lives with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Newport, 914 E. Hancock street. The Newports have been Appleton residents since May. (Post-Crescent Photo.)
