From WW Munsell's History of Morris County New Jersey, published in 1882, we find the following information about the First Presbyterian Church of Morristown.

Page 131-132
"... There were 102 in full communion when Mr. Johnes was installed pastor, ...
The names of these 102 members are appended, with the addition so far as we have been able to ascertain of the date of their death or burial:"

Silas Halsey
Abigail his wife, buried March 26, 1777, aged 60
Bathiah Benjamin Halsey's wife, died January 23, 1785, aged 62

Page 138, we find a list of:
"We append a complete list of ruling elders of the First Church from its organization, with the date of taking office:"

1770 - Ezra Halsey
1785 - Ezra Halsey
