This Indenture made the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Between Harry A. Doverspike, of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, and State of Pennsylvania, and Joseph H. Shaffer of Pierce, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, Excutors of the Last Will and Testement of Daniel Doverspike, late of Pierce Armstrong County, Pennsylvania (deceased) parties of the first part and Clark E. Doverspike of Red Bank Township, County of Armstrong, and State of Pennsylvania, party of the second part.

Witnesseth:

That whereas the said Daniel Doverspike by virtue of divers conveyances and assurances in the law, duly had and executed, became in his lifetime lawfully seized in his demesne as a fee of the hereinafter described real estate, and being thereof so seized, made his Last Will and Testament, in writing, bearing date the twenty second day of August A. D. one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

And of his said Will appointed said Harry A. Doverspike and Joseph N. Shaffer the Executors as by the said resited Will, since his death duly proved, and of Record in the Registers Office in the County of Armstrong in Will Book Vol. 10 Page 183 more fully appears.

And whereas, in said last will and testament said testator, after making certain devised and bequests directed that his hereinafter described farm in Red Bank Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and any other property he might be in possessed of be sold by his executors and the money derived therefrom devided as stated in said will.

Now this Indenture Witnesseth:

That the said Harry A. Doverspike and Joseph H. Shaffer, executors as aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty one hundred ($2100.00) Dollars, to them in hand paid by the said Clark E. Doverspike at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt and payment is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents, by force and virtue of the authority in them vested by said last will and testament do grant, bargain, and sell, unto the said Clark E. Doverspike, his heirs and assigns all the following described.

All that certain tract or piece of land situated in the Township of Red Bank County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows to wit:

Beginning at a post at the northeasterly corner of lands of Jacob Keihls (formerly lands of John Struyar) at a post in the corner of land of Grant Holben (formerly land of Emanuel Rittinger) thence along the line of said land of Grant Holben, south 88 1/2 degrees east sixty four (64) percels to the Armstrong and Jefferson County line, thence along said Armstrong and Jefferson County line south 1 1/4 degrees east one hundred seven (107) percels to line of lands of Charles Shaffer, thence along the line of Charles Shaffer, north 88 3/4 degrees west sixty three (63) percels to a post in the line of said lands of Jacob Keihls (formerly lands of John Struyar) and thence along the line of Jacob Keihls north one hundred and six (106) percels to a post in the line of lands of said Grant Holben at the place of the beginning.

Containing 39 3/4 acers x and allowances and being the same tract or piece of land sold and conveyed by George Neese and Polly Neese, his wife, by deed dated April 10 1876 and recorded in the Recorders Office of Armstrong County in Deed Book Vol 49 Page 128 unto Daniel Doverspike, who died on July 28 1916, after having made and executed his last will and testement dated August 22 1914 now duly probated and recorded in the Registers Office of Armstrong County aforesaid in Will Book Vol. 10 Page 183.

Also all that certain tract or piece of land situated in Ringgold Township Jefferson County State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows to wit:

Beginning at a point in the Armstrong and Jefferson County line, at the corner of lands of George Kunselman (formerly land of Dunham) thence along line of said lands of George Kunselman south 88 degrees east ninety three (93) percels to lands of Samuel Himes (formerly lands of John Trayer) thence along line of said land of Samuel Himes south 2 degrees east one hundred ten (110) percels to the line of lands of William Brocious (formerly lands of Joseph Hinderliter) thence along the lines of said lands of William Brocious north 88 degrees west ninety three (93) percels to the Armstrong and Jefferson County line, and thence along the Armstrong and Jefferson County line north 2 degrees west one hundred and ten (110) percels to the line of lands of George Kunselman aforesaid at the place of beginning.

Containing sixty (60) acers mor or less and being the same tract or piece of land sold and conveyed by George Neese and Polly Neese, his wife.

By deed date April 10 1876 and recorded in Recorders Office of Jefferson County in Deed Book Vol. 31 Page 510 unto Daniel Doverspike, who died on July 28 1916 after having made and executed his last will and testement dated August 22 1914, now duly probated and recorded in the Registers Office of Armstrong County aforesaid in Will Book Vol. 10 Page 183.

The farm as sold at the present time contains sixty acers more or less, and not 99 and 3/4 acers as mentioned in above deed.

Together with all sigulars the buildings, improvements, rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and revisions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all estate rights title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said Daniel Doverspike at and immediately before the time of his (decease), in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same.

To Have And To Hold the said described tracts or pieces of land with the appurtenance, unto said Clark E. Doverspike, his heirs and assigns, to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Clark E. Doverspike, his heirs and assigns Forever.

By the same title, and to all intents and purpose the same as held by him the said Daniel Doverspike at and immediately before the time of his (decease).

And the said executors, for themselvess their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, convenant, promise, grant agree to and with the said Clark E. Doverspike, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said Harry A. Doverspike and Joseph Shaffer, have not heretofore done or committed, or knowingly or willingly suffered to be done or committed any act, matter or anything whatsoever whereby the premises hereby granted, or any part thereof, is are shall or may be impeached, charged, or incumbered, in title, estate, or otherwise howsoever.

On this 24 day of April A. D. 1920, before me, a Justic of the Peace in and for said County of Armstrong, came the above named Harry A. Doverspike and Joseph H. Shaffer, executors as aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed and desire, the same to be recorded as such.
