RICHARD STALLINGS was born in Lincolnshire, England, in 1638. He married LAVARIA KINGSLAND.

RICHARD & LAVARIA had six children—
1. JACOB, born in 1653, and died March 12, 1711 or 1712, in Calvert, Maryland. He married MARTHA KENT in 1702, in Calvert, Maryland. She was born in Calvert in 1682, and died there August 3, 1755. MARTHA was the daughter of HENRY KENT and MARTHA BRASHEAR.

JACOB and MARTHA had seven children—
ISAAC, born in Calvert County In 1710, and died in Frederick County, Maryland in 1777. He married ISABELL ELIZABETH.

ISAAC and ISABELL had eight children—
ELIZABETH
GRIFFIN was born in 1749. He married ELIZABETH.
JACOB was born in Maryland in 1751. He married MARGARET.
MARTHA, born in 1744. She married TUCKER.
MARY
SARAH was born January 12, 1837. She married NICHOLAS THURMAN

SUSANNAH
SAMUEL. He was born in Frederick County Maryland in 1744, and died in
Bullitt County Kentucky. He married SARAH ORME.
They had eight children—

JOHN, born in Frederick County Virginia in 1771. He married CYNTHIA BRASHEAR October 16, 1808, in Bullitt County, Kentucky. CYNTHIA was born in 1786, in Jefferson County Kentucky. She was the daughter of MARSHAM BRASHEAR and LUCY PHELPS

They had seven children—
SARAH
LUCINDA. She was born in Bullitt County Kentucky in 1811, and died
February 24, 1857 in Daviess County Kentucky. She married JOHN RILEY HEDGES.
SAMUEL was born in Bullitt County in June, 1815, and died March 7, 1856. He married SUSAN HOSKINS February 5, 1837 in St. Vincent Church, in Nazareth, Kentucky. She was born in 1821 in Kentucky, and was the daughter of JAMES M. HOSKINS and MARY ELIZABETH EMBERSON

SAMUEL and SUSAN had seven children—
MARS B. was born October, 1837 in Bullett County Kentucky, died in 1910 at St. Joseph's, and buried in San Alphonsus Cemetery. MARS married three times. once to SUSAN ELIZABETH RALIEGH; once to MARY AURELIA HOSKINS, and again to SUSAN ELIZABETH RALIEGH.
MARY ELIZABETH was born in 1839. She married PIOUS F. PAYNE NOVEMVER 10, 1855, In Daviess County, Kentucky.
MARGARET SUZANNA. She was born January 2, 1841 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She married NATHAN G. SHEPARD on January 8, 1860, in St. Stephens Cathedral in Owensboro, Kentucky.
JAMES HENRY was born in 1843 in Bullitt County. He married ANN ALICE RALEIGH at St. Stephens Cathedral in Owensboro.
METILA CATHERINE was born November 26, 1851.
JOHN HENSON STALLINGS was born February 1, 1846 in Bullitt County, Kentucky, and died February 2, 1921, in Daviess County Kentucky. He married ELIZA DICKENS.  She was born November 19, 1849 in Marion, County, Kentucky, and died in 1912. They were married December 25, 1865, in Panther Creek, Daviess County, Kentucky.

JOHN and ELIZA had eight children—

VICTOR JAMES WILLIAM, born November 1867 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He married ADDIE MAE LIVERS on August 9, 1890, in St. Alphonsus Church in West Louisville, Daviess County.
GEORGIA A. —born 1868 in Daviess County, Kentucky, and died January 23, 1945 in Owensboro Daviess County, Kentucky. She married (1) WILLIAM FRED CARR, and (2) JOHN RICHARD CHESHER. Only one wedding date is available, and that is March 16, 1887, in Daviess County, Kentucky. It is not known whether this date was for her marriage to JOHN or to RICHARD.
LIZZIE MAE, born May, 1870 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She married HENRY T. CHESHIRE on December 28, 1886 in Daviess County.
WAURDEN SAMUAL, born December 12, 1873, in West Louisville, Daviess County, Kentucky, and died July 3, 1948. He married MARY AGNES MATTINGLY, 13, 1948, in St. Stephens Church, in Daviess County.
If the above dates are correct, WAURDEN died ten days after he and MARY were married.
ANNA ROSETTA, born September 10, 1875, in Daviess County and died there July 6, 1940. She married LEONARD MOSES HANCOCK July 8, 1895 in Rockport, Indiana.
THOMAS FRED, was born in 1876 in Daviess County, and died there January 26, 1945. He married LOUISE JARNIQAN on December 26, 1896, in Daviess County.
JOSEPH FLOYD, born December 11, 1879 in Daviess County, and died March 29, 1915. He married LILLIE O'BRYAN April 1, 1902, at St. Stephens Church in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

WILLIAM MARTIN, born February 8, 1848, and died November 30, 1897, in West Louisville Daviess Couty, Kentucky. His parents were SAMUEL STALLINGS and SUSAN HOSKINS He married LUCY ANN COOMES April 29, 1873 in Beech Grove, Daviess County, Kentucky. She was born October 8, 1855, West Louisville Daviess County, Kentucky, and died July 10, 1936, in Waterflow, San Juan County, New Mexico.

WILLIAM and LUCY had thirteen children—

MARY LORENA, born December 22, 1873 in West Louisville, and died August 22, 1954 in West Louisville. She married JOSEPH HENRY PAYNE March 30, 1894, in St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.
LEO GUSTAN was born November, 1875, 1875 in West Louisville, and died there February 10, 1876,
JOSEPH ALPHONSUS was born December, 1876 in West Louisville, and died October 9, 1917, in Denver, Colorado.
PAUL DELACY, born April 13, 1879 in West Louisville, and died October 14, 1947 in Waterflow, San Juan County, New Mexico. He married MAUDE A. GIBSON.
LAWRENCE LORENZO, born May 9, 1881 in West Louisville and died December 10, 1954 in Waterflow, San Juan County, New Mexico. He married ROSABELLE WARREN.
MARY LORETTA, born September 4, 1883 in West Louisville and died August 8, 1969, in Hartford, Texas. She married THOMAS EDGER WARREN November 13, 1903 at St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.
LEGORA TROOSTEN, born February 11, 1886 in West Louisville, and died June 26, 1959 in Tel City Perry County, Indiana. He married ALICE BERTA MASSEY January 11, 1911, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
CORILLA JANE, born May 8, 1888 in West Louisville, and died January 27, 1951 in New Mexico. She married LUSCIUS CLEMENTS.
HENRY STEPHEN, born January 20, 1884, in Daviess County, and died November 27, 1956, in Evansville, Vanderburg County, Indiana. He married (1) LAURA THOMAS, and (2) RENA FENWICK. He was married to one of them on February 8, 1908, in St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.
EMMA ISABELLE, born in December, 1885, in Daviess County, Kentucky, and died there August 3, 1954. She married HERBERT TRODGLEN February 1, 1909, in St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.
ELNORA, born June 3, 1887 in Daviess County, and died there. She married JOSEPH STEPHEN POOLE on April 12, 1904, in St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.
CATHERINE AUGUSTAC, born April, 1889 in Daviess County, and died there. She married JOSEPH L. TRODGLEN on May 2, 1905, in St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County.

MARTIN OTIS, born January, 1882 in Daviess County, Kentucky, and died February 1 1948 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. His parents were JOHN HENSON STALLINGS and ELIZA DICKENS He married FLORA BELLE TORRANCE on January 31, 1905, at St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County, Kentucky. FLORA BELLE is my great grand aunt, the daughter of my great grandparents JAMES HIRAM TORRANCE and LOU BELLE HODGKINS. She was born in 1886 in West Louisville, Kentucky and died May 21, 1959 in Spotsville, Henderson County, Kentucky. FLORA BELLE was also married to GEORGE A. RALPH

MARTIN and FLORA BELLE had eight children—
WILLIAM HARVEY, born October 18, 1905 in Daviess County. and died in California in 1954. He married MARY EVELYN DICKENS July 28, 1928, in Rockport, Spencer County, Indiana. Her parents were WILLIAM DICKENS and JENNIE BELLE HIGHT.

JOHN WORDEN, born February 19, 1916 in Daviess County,  and died June 15, 1985 in Villa Ridge, Missouri. He married MARY IDA SPENCER February 26, 1938, in Daviess County.
LEONARD A., born in 1920 in Daviess County, and died July 2, 1978, in Shelbyville, Bullitt County, Kentucky. He married GEORGIA M. DICKENS.

MARY AGNES, born December 13, 1926, and died June 30, 1993. She married THOMAS LOYD LANDCASTER.
GEORGE MARTIN, born December 24, 1927. He married (1) ANNA ROSE HANCOCK, (2) SARA PATRICIA STEELE, and (3) JUDY STINNETT.
LILLIAN BEATRICE, born August 28, 1930. She married JOHN B. WESTERFIELD.
JAMES WILLARD (RED), born September 3, 1932. He married (1) ANNA LOIS DURBIN and (2) GLENDA BAKER.
THERESA ROSE, born in September of 1934, and died in September of 1939.
JOSEPH ELMER, born June 17, 1937. He married IRIS SIMMONS.
VIRGINIA PAULINE, born June 14, 1941 She married WAYNE TIPTON.
RUTH ANN, born September 3, 1943 She married (1) PAUL BLAND and (2) VAN SQUIRE
PAUL EUGENE, born April 6, 1948. He married SUSAN.
ROBERT WARREN, born June 30, 1950. He married (1) PAM FUTOE and (2) LINDA GIRTMAN.

THERESA W., born October 25, 1924 in Daviess County. She married WILLIAM SLAUGHTERS.
